On February 11th, 2014, Westcorp formally submitted its application to the City of Kelowna for the development of a landmark boutique hotel on the former Willow Inn site (located at the corner of Queensway Avenue and Mill Street, behind Kerry Park). This is an exciting project for Westcorp, and, with the hotel proposed in the very heart of the downtown waterfront, an exciting project for Kelowna.
Over the coming weeks, the Westcorp Team will be meeting with many stakeholders including adjacent property owners. A Public Open House is scheduled for Wednesday March 12th, 2014 from 3pm – 7pm in the South Atrium of the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave., Kelowna. Representatives from Westcorp and their consulting team will be available for questions, and public feedback will be collected.
It is hoped that the application will receive Initial Consideration by City Council in late spring/early summer.
